Random Encounters by Kathleen Walker is on tour

Random Encounters is on tour and looking for blog hosts and reviewers.
Random Encounters is a very HOT book by Kathleen Walker

Here is an excerpt from the book:

Veronica Walters had established herself in a comfortable lifestyle far away from the controlling, upper class family she was raised by in the Florida Keys. She’d achieved the family dream for her of graduating with a law degree from Harvard. Now, she was independent and proud of meeting her goals on her own. Working in a criminal law firm instead of the stuffy business and corporate law her father and brothers practiced, she felt she had a more challenging job with the law firm in Colorado she’d accepted a position with right out of college. There was just one little part of her life that was somewhat out of control, yet she didn’t fight it.  Instead, she relished it.  The random sexual encounters she had with men she didn’t know served to satisfy urges and sexual fantasy. Yet, as the number of encounters increased, she wondered...how long can this go on? How many more times can the thrill of the capture and pleasure she achieved from these encounters until someone she knows finds out? It could put her whole life in jeopardy. That fear was overwhelming.  Or worse, what if one of the men she silently encouraged to participate turned out to be someone sinister, violent. The numbers game she was playing with the men she chose told her that her good luck thus far may soon run out.  Just one more...just one more exquisite climax and rush of adrenaline, then she would have her fill and be able to stop.  Have a normal life; find someone to settle down with.  That thought, of being with the same person, living with the same man day after day...well, she’d certainly have to think about that.
In the midst of the personal issue she knew she needed to resolve, Veronica finds herself in a very public high profile case, not by choice but by order of a senior partner in the firm. A stylish younger woman who was married to a now deceased much older husband. Veronica had a fight on her hands with the deceased husbands relatives who were determined to deny the young widow of the inheritance her husband left her in his will, a la Anna Nicole Smith headlines.  Determined to get the beautiful, pampered widow her due inheritance, she needed the dead husband’s psychologist to reveal some very important details that would help her case.  Enter Dr. Steve Nelson.  Veronica spoke on the phone with him and set up a meeting. He was willing to give the information she needed, and Veronica was certain she could now win the case.  Unknown to her prior to their meeting, he turned out to be her silent, sizzling encounter just a few days before.  She was frozen in shock when he walked into her office for their business meeting.  He was handsome, soft spoken and completely non-judgmental about her sexual behavior with him previously.  Veronica breathed a sigh of relief and counted her blessings. She was smitten with his soft blue eyes, gentle manner, and corny demeanor.  It all looked good on him.  She found herself strangely attracted to this man that she initially never wanted to see again, as she did with each encounter.
Dr. Nelson not only helps her win her case, but ushers Veronica on a journey of self discovery that she never saw coming. The outcome surprised even herself.  This story evolves from a young woman’s illicit encounters and attempts to gain control of her own life and emotions, to a matured woman who accepts her past and now looks forward to a secure future.

All This and Family Too by Sarah E. Glenn tour will extend til October

All This and Family Too by Sarah E. Glenn has extended her virtual book blog tour to continue through Halloween. She has enjoyed hertour and has decided to have Mystical Book Blogs to jump start the tour for the fall. She will also be doing several local signings such as A Day of Mystical Blood Lust in Lexington, Ky on October 22nd.

Here is a summary of  All This and Family Too.
Adjusting to life as a vampire hasn’t been easy for Cynthia. Her partner murdered, stalked by a demented preacher-turned-vampire hunter, and forced to move across country from North Carolina to Irvine, California, Cynthia tackles undeath one battle at a time.
With the help of her devoted grandmother, trusted brother, and Josie, a distracting runaway, Cynthia comes to realize that it is not walkin...g in sunlight that makes a person human, and living in the shadows might shed light on the things most important to her survival—family, love and controlling her thirst for blood.
The Lexington, KY author has a B.S. in Journalism from the University of Kentucky. She’s held a number of entirely unrelated jobs since college: art intern at a billboard company, NCIC operator for her local police department, and teaching assistant in medical terminology. Sarah writes mystery and horror stories with a definite bias towards the humorous. Several have appeared in magazines and anthologies, including G.W. Thomas’ Ghostbreakers series, Futures Mysterious Anthology Magazine, and Fish Tales, the premiere anthology from the Guppy chapter of Sisters in Crime.
Sarah’s first novel, All This and Family Too, comes to you courtesy of Pill Hill Press. This heartwarming saga answers the question: can a vampire survive the challenges of a gated community, even with the support of a loving family?

Here is the synopsis that the author provided for the tour:
The deeds of some vampires are restricted…
Cynthia Leach, vampire and professor of astronomy, just wants to lead a normal unlife. She believes that she can escape vampire hunters by moving away from North Carolina, but instead finds herself with a host of new problems.
Astronomy isn’t a nighttime science any more, and her department chair tries to force her to teach day classes. She rescues a runaway who soon learns too much to be discarded. Her family has moved to California with her, and the president of the neighborhood association is determined to run Grandma out of town. Worst of all, the vampire hunters are persistent ones – who have followed Cynthia to her new home.
